Carnival is scheduled for March 25th, 2012.

  • There will be a minimal fee for costumes if your child is participating in carnival.

There have been some significant changes to the CANSkate and Junior programs for the up coming season. Skate Canada has mandated some changes to the way skating programs will be operated including the NEW MANDATORY HELMET POLICY for CANSkate and ADULT CANSkate members up to and including stage 5 level. This policy comes into effect 1 July 2011 and will be enforced for the upcoming season. Another big change to be gradually introduced over the next couple of  seasons is the introduction of the LONG TERM ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT program. This program will change the way the CANSkate, Junior and STARSkate programs up to the Junior Bronze level will be operated. Please feel free to contact any of our coaching staff for further information.

 Additional Notes:

  • All skaters MUST be registered before their sessions begin. You are not allowed on the ice if we have not received your registration and method of payment.
  • First priority in registration is given to TFSC skaters with accounts in good standing. All other applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Skaters are not permitted to trade or switch sessions without the prior approval of the TFSC Executive.
  • A CSA approved hockey helmet is a MANDATORY requirement for all CANSKATE and ADULT CANSKATE up to AND including stage five (5) – Skate Canada Regulation as of 1 July 2011
  • Pre-canskaters must be 3 years of age as of August 31, 2011.
  • Stroking is a very important part of skater development. You are strongly encouraged to take part if you have purchased a program that includes stroking.
  • Before you submit your registration, confirm lesson bookings with your coach.
  • A responsible adult, not including your skaters' coach, must remain with your skater at the arena during their sessions.
  • Out-of-club Coaches please contact our Admin Team, for permission to coach on our club sessions.
